We are already ready to turn our attention to Week 6 of the NCAA Football season and it's been a great start. Still several teams remain in the hunt for the College Football Playoffs. Week 6 puts together another excellent selection of games so let’s take a look at the Top College Football Betting Games of the Week....
This should be a great game out of the SEC. The Tigers are 3-2 on the season and are at the 4-1 Florida Gators. The game is to be played at Florida Field at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. The Tigers are coming off their emotional and hard fought win last week, just after firing their former head coach Les Miles. The Florida Gators will be looking to score more points following their 13 against Vanderbilt last week. LSU should however win this game, despite being on the road simply because the Gators just do not score enough, and with Leonard Fournette expecting to play, that’s too much.
Oklahoma Sooners -10.5 at Texas Longhorns
The Red River Rivalry game is not as hyped as it has been in years past. The reason is that both teams come into the game with 2-2 records. The Sooners are ranked 20th in the Associated Press poll and they came away with a huge win last week against TCU. Oklahoma is still the favorite out of the Big 12, with just one game played thus far. For the Longhorns, following their win over Notre Dame, they have not been too sharp and look for Oklahoma to get revenge from a season ago, and blow the doors off this game, maybe take the Sooners by 2+ scores.
Virginia Tech Hokies +2.5 at North Carolina Tar Heels
Two ranked teams out of the Atlantic Coast Conference will meet up in a huge game. The Hokies are 3-1 on the season, with their lone loss being to Tennessee. The Hokies are 1-0 in conference play. Both these teams are looking to keep up with Louisville and Clemson in the Atlantic Coast Conference. For North Carolina, they are coming off a massive win on the road at Florida State. With this game in Chapel Hill, the Tar Heels should win and there's just too much Tar Heels offense in this one, so maybe bet the North Carolina Tar Heels as the small favorite.
Tennessee Volunteers pk at Texas A&M Aggies
Two top ten teams in all of College Football will get together in College Station. These two teams are both unbeaten, and both out of the different divisions in the SEC. The Volunteers needed a miracle last week over Georgia to remain unbeaten. For the Texas A+M Aggies, they are coming off a good road win at South Carolina. The Aggies have yet to have an opponent come within less than a touchdown of them. Look for the Aggies to win this game at home.
Alabama Crimson Tide at Arkansas Razorbacks
The top ranked Alabama Crimson Tide are on the road in Fayetteville. The Crimson Tide are coming off their very easy win over Kentucky last week. Alabama allowed 43 points to Ole Miss, but in their other three wins, they are allowing just 4 points per game. For Arkansas, what an opportunity. The Razorbacks lone loss came at Texas A+M at the end of September. Arkansas is coming off a 42 point win over Alcorn State. Look for Arkansas to compete in this game, but Alabama win the game. Bet the underdog at home in this game.
Florida State Seminoles +2 Miami Hurricanes
The last game is huge down in the State of Florida. The Florida State Seminoles have just the two losses on the season. They lost on the road at Louisville, and then at home last week against North Carolina. Dalvin Cook has been disappointing through the first five games for the Seminoles. For Miami, they are a fantastic 5-0 on the season. Not only have the Hurricanes won all their games, but also been impressive in them. The Hurricanes have won their first four games by an average of 36 points per game. Look for the Miami home crowd to guide through for a win here. Bet the home team.
