Warriors and Curry can Book Final Place at Expense of Rockets

The Golden State Warriors come into the playoffs looking to repeat their success from last season, and despite not having it all their own way in the regular season, things are looking good for them in the playoffs. The Warriors have breezed through so far, and best of all they have done it without needing the services of Steph Curry. He is their star, and should he recover throughout this series against the Rockets, he will arrive at the NBA final fit and fresh, a scary prospect for the team they will face. While the Warriors come here as Bovada NBA bookmaker favourites, it must be remembered that the Houston Rockets did enough to win top spot in the regular season ahead of the Warriors. They played some great basketball and on their day they can beat the Warriors for sure. The problem they have is that they need to beat them four times out of seven games, can they have their day four times over the coming two weeks? That is unlikely to happen, which is why the Warriors are big favourites to take this series. Both teams have performed well in the playoffs so far, and you can’t argue that the Rockets don’t deserve to be here, but this is where the very best in the world come together, and this looks like being a step too far for them. The Warriors will fancy their chances based on what we have seen so far, and that is without Steph Curry. He is now back, and although he may lack a little match sharpness, he has the brain and the skill to make up for that. Curry will be desperate to show what he can do, especially after watching the show that LeBron James is putting on out in the east right now. Curry will want to show he is the best in the world and will be desperate for that matchup against LeBron once more in the finals. The Houston Rockets probably deserve a little more credit than they are getting right now, but having said that this series is all about the Golden State Warriors and Steph Curry. With their star man back from injury, the Warriors can show everyone just how good they are by dominating this impressive Rockets team, booking their place in the NBA final as they look to win another title.
