Kansas City Chiefs Aim to Bounce Back Quick

The Kansas City Chiefs suffered defeat for the first time last week in a thrilling game against the New England Patriots. They lost the game 43-40, despite their young quarterback Patrick Mahomes having a fantastic game. He couldn’t get one over on Tom Brady though, and now the Chiefs have to head back home and regroup ahead of a clash with the Cincinati Bengals on Sunday night and Bovada NFL betting has all of the action you need.

Like the Chiefs, the Bengals also suffered defeat last weekend, although that was their second defeat of the season to take their record to 4-2. Despite that loss, they are top of the AFC North, while the Chiefs are top of the AFC West. Both teams will have aspirations of winning their division, and both will be looking to bounce straight back from their defeats last weekend to get back on track here.

Patrick Mahomes for the Chiefs will once again face off against an experienced quarterback who is playing well, but just like with Brady last week, Mahomes has better stats than this week’s opponent Andy Dalton. Mahomes has taken his touchdown total to 18, while throwing for a hugely impressive 1865 yards with just four interceptions. Dalton is having a very good year, but his figures of 14 touchdowns, 1674 yards and seven interceptions are all lower than what Mahomes has produced so far.

One area the Bengals can match the Chiefs is with the number of attacking weapons they have. AJ Green leads them in yards and touchdowns, but like the Chiefs they are not a one man team. This should provide us with a very entertaining, open and high scoring game on Sunday night. We saw over 80 points in the Cheifs/Patriots game last weekend, and 49 in the game between the Bengals and the Steelers so big figures will not come as a surprise.

As far as a winner of this one goes, I will have to side with the Kansas City Chiefs here, although I think the game will finish close. I’m expecting to see a lot of points scored, and if the game does develop into a shootout, I see that favouring the Chiefs more than the Bengals.

In what should be a very good game to watch on Sunday night, I am going to back the Chiefs to return to winning ways against the Bengals. This won’t be a wide margin success, but the Chiefs have enough in the locker to defeat their opponents here.
