Steelers can Claim Big Divisional Victory over Bengals

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a tight grip on the AFC North division and they can claim another big divisional victory on Monday night when they travel to face the Cincinnati Bengals. The Bengals have a 5-6 record so far, some way behind the Steelers, who are on 9-2 and looking very good for another shot at the Super Bowl.

When you compare the attacking play of the two teams it is clear to see why they have the records they have. The Steelers are far superior in every attacking area and they are going to put a lot of pressure on the Bengals defence in this game, which will eventually be too much for them to handle.

Bengals quarterback Andy Dalton has thrown 18 touchdowns, compared to Ben Roethlisberger’s 20, which isn’t a huge difference over the course of a season. However, Dalton has thrown for around 600 yards less than his opposing quarterback, and that is a big difference. This doesn’t just stop with the quarterback’s either, the trend continues with rushing yards and receiving yards. Le’Veon Bell is the number one back in Pittsburgh and he has rushed for nearly 1000 yards this season, compared to just under 500 from Joe Mixon, the number one back in Cincinnati. Antonio Brown has nearly 1200 receiving yards on the season, compared to AJ Green who has just over 800 for the Bengals, still, an impressive number but well off the figures that Brown is producing.

After reading through the figures it makes sense to see Pittsburgh well clear at the top of the AFC North and they can cement their position with another win in this game on Monday night. The attacking force of Pittsburgh is simply going to be too much for the Bengals to cope with and that will allow the Steelers to run out comfortable winners of this one. They are looking for momentum to take into the playoffs and right now, no one would like to play them, such is the way they are playing.

Back the Pittsburgh Steelers to win this game against the Bengals, something they look sure to do and something they will do comfortably. The Steelers offence is very good, they are a joy to watch so catch this game if you can, but most importantly they are certainly good enough to beat the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday night football.
