The Pittsburgh Steelers have started this NFL season very well and they have found themselves 8-2, a record which perhaps should have been a little better. That is in stark contrast to the Green Bay Packers who have lost Aaron Rodgers amongst others to injury and they are currently in trouble with a record of 5-5. The Steelers are at home in this one and anything other than a comfortable win for them would be a shock result with the team that the Packers have to put out right now.
The two losses the Steelers have had so far have come against Chicago and Jacksonville. Both of those were surprising defeats, especially the Jacksonville defeat as this was on their home field. However, in the other eight games, they have done very well, beating some top teams including the Kansas City Chiefs, who many are predicting as potential Super Bowl winners.
Look out for Le’Veon Bell to be given the opportunity to run against the struggling Packers defence, he had just 46 yards on the floor last week against the Tennessee Titans, but looks sure to break that and some more in this game.
Injury problems have all but ended the season for the Green Bay Packers and they have to try and deal with what they have right now. The loss of Aaron Rodgers was terrible for them, he is, behind Tom Brady, the most valuable player in the league and without him, the Packers are weakened considerably.
The Packers looked competitive in their 23-16 victory over the Chicago Bears two weeks ago, but last weekend they were shut out by the Baltimore Ravens, coming back down to earth with a bang. That was a poor game for stand-in quarterback Brett Hundley, and he will be desperate to bounce back this coming weekend after that performance. There is little to play for right now other than pride, and that puts the Packers in a strange position, and certainly one they are not used to after having success in recent seasons.
This game was one many will have circled at the start of the season, but injuries have decimated the Packers and the game should be a one-sided affair because of that. The Steelers should win this one comfortably, with double figures looking likely for the margin of victory in favour of the Steelers, and all odds are available at Bovada Sportsbook.
