Chiefs can Bounce Back from Two Losses to Beat Broncos
The Kansas City Chiefs looked like world beaters just two weeks ago, but people now doubt them after two losses in a row. That takes them to a 5-2 record, still impressive and enough to top the notoriously difficult AFC West. Their main rivals for that crown are the Broncos, although after they were shut out by the LA Chargers last weekend, they come in here with a record of just 3-3.
There is one battle that is going to decide this game, and fans from all over the world are going to love watching it, as well as wagering on it with Bovada. That is the Denver defence, who have yet again been fantastic this season, against Tyreek Hill and Kareem Hunt. Both Hill and Hunt are potential superstars of the game and they have carried this Kansas team to where it is today, this is a huge game for them and if they can show their quality against this defence, the Chiefs will win.
We have seen a very different Alex Smith this season due to Hill and Hunt working so well, and it has been great to watch. He has thrown for nearly 2000 yards in his first seven games, and also landed 15 touchdowns. The Chiefs were once quite conservative in attack, slowly moving up the field and lacking any explosive power, but now they are completely the opposite.
One team who could learn from the Chiefs is the Broncos, who have really struggled yet again with their offence this season. They have shown glimpses of promise, but overall it has been another disappointment for the Trevor Siemian led offence. Kareem Hunt has nearly double the rushing yards of CJ Anderson, and Tyreek Hill has nearly double the receiving yards as Emmanuel Sanders, showing the gap that has grown between these two teams.
The Monday Night Football game in Kansas should be a very good game and while the Broncos head there with a chance, the Chiefs look to have a little too much power on offence. I am going to back the Chiefs to win the game, they look to have too much for Denver and they can get their season back on track and take their record to 6-2.
The Broncos will be looking to bounce back from their poor showing last weekend, but this game looks to be a step too far for them and they will have to settle for another loss.
