Panthers Can Take Winning Streak into Bye Week

The Carolina Panthers are currently on a two-game winning streak after victories over Tampa Bay and Atlanta in recent weeks. This weekend on Monday Night Football they take on the Miami Dolphins, looking to win their third straight game ahead of their bye week and you can wager in play and before the game at Bovada. The Dolphins have lost their last two games and after trading Jay Ajayi on trade the trade deadline day, they look like a team happy to coast to the end of the season.

The Panthers are currently 6-3 this season and are chasing down the 6-2 New Orleans Saints for the NFC South divisional title. A good run over the next few weeks would put them in a great position to make the playoffs, which has to be their goal this season. Currently at 4-4, and now minus the traded Ajayi, things look tough for the Miami Dolphins and it would be a huge surprise to see them make the playoffs.

A good win over the strong Atlanta Falcons was a great result for the Carolina Panthers last weekend and that will have given them a great confidence boost. That was their second big win against a divisional rival in two weeks after they bet Tampa Bay the week before and right now the Panthers are doing great things to help their divisional title bid. Just two games after their bye week, the Panthers travel to face New Orleans who currently lead the NFC South, if they can get to that game unbeaten, which looks possible, that should set up an outstanding matchup between the pair.

Going back to this game and from what we have seen in recent weeks, the Miami Dolphins don’t look to have the weapons available to them to disrupt the Carolina Panthers and make a game of this one. The Panthers have a solid defence that can cope with the threat Miami have, even more so as they are without a true number one running back now. They also have enough on offence to trouble the Miami defence, with a combination of wide receivers and running backs that can do damage. Don’t forget about Cam Newton, who rushed for 86 yards himself against the Atlanta Falcons last weekend.

This should be a comfortable victory for the Carolina Panthers and they can head into their bye week with a three-game unbeaten streak.
