Patriots to Pile More Misery on Broncos

The Denver Broncos went into their bye week quietly confident they could make the playoffs this season after a good start. However, since they have returned to action they have lost four straight games, and they look like a completely different team. Just last weekend the once highly praised Denver defensive line-up conceded 51 points against Philadelphia.

Their offensive play hasn’t been much better, they have scored just 52 points in four games since their bye week, including a shutout against the Los Angeles Chargers. A change in quarterback gave the job to Brock Osweiler last weekend, but he struggled and he certainly doesn’t appear to be the answer to their problems.

Just when it couldn’t get any worse for the Broncos, they host the New England Patriots on Sunday night. The Patriots return off their bye week and before that, they won four straight games to take their record to 6-2. They look sure to pile further misery on the Broncos this weekend when their pair meet and you can bet on Broncos Vs the Patriots at Bovada.

These two have played some great games against each other in the past, and normally this would be a game that fans have circled and waited for throughout the season. However, I’m not so sure the Broncos fans are going to be looking forward to seeing the Patriots on Sunday.

New England have by far the better offence and if the Denver defence plays like they did last week this could get ugly for them. The Broncos don’t appear to be capable of putting a huge amount of points on the board, so a shootout would definitely suit the Pats this weekend. After a well-deserved rest and an additional week to work on some plays, you just know that the Patriots and Tom Brady are going to be fully prepared for this game and they are going to hit Denver hard.

What should have been a great, close game between two powerhouses of the game looks like turning into a one-sided comfortable victory for the New England Patriots. That may not be what the neutrals want to see, but Patriots fans would love to really get one over on their rivals. The problems in Denver are there for all to see and anything other than a top-class performance from their defence will see this game turn ugly. An improved performance is a must, but even that will not be enough to stop the Patriots, and a comfortable win for them looks to be on the cards here.
